Our Goals
1. Establish newborn blood sugar testing protocol in every state. Currently, each state varies with their set standards (if they have any) and the majority of blood sugar testing is performed on babies born to mothers with Gestational Diabetes only.
2. Educate medical and emergency room personnel about acceptable blood sugar levels for babies and children.
3. Provide and help coordinate necessary assistance for families coping with the treatment of their children with Congenital Hyperinsulinism.
