Meet German Families

Hello my name is Jolina, coming from Oberhausen and I'm 14 months old. After the PET-CT was told my mother that I had a diffuse form and one can not operate. I would take a very long time, probably for life, medications, measure blood sugar constantly and are afraid of hypoglycaemia. We must resign ourselves, because there is no alternative. And also that I grew hair everywhere like a little monkey - a known side effect of drugs - we should accept as inevitable. Since the doctors but my mom knew bad! Because my mom was with this prospect, not at all satisfied! She has been in contact with other parents and have recommended her Barthle Professor at Greifswald. Since we are 4 women in the family - my mom, my aunt, my grandma and I - drove together to Greifswald. Prof. Barthle said right, that he can promise us anything, but that he will try anything to help me. And then I had a very lucky: in the laparoscopy in March 2011 showed that not all parts of the pancreas are affected equally, so that there is a so-called leopard pattern, and that the main activity lies in the tail of the pancreas. Which was then in the same operation through a keyhole - my navel - removed. And the almost unbelievable fact occurred: since then my blood sugar levels completely stable! Without medication and with a normal meal! We went 10 days after surgery in Greifswald home and have only really understood that our lives from the ground has changed dramatically. Medis No, no more fear of hypoglycemia! My mom still attaches to safety and then the blood sugar, but has since always been normal and the surgery is also now about 4 months ago! We can not believe our luck for me and my aunt has even established its own website extra:

Please take time to  read her web site.
