Hello, my name is Lina. I am 15 months old and was born a half-Finnish-German girl in Switzerland. Unfortunately, I collapsed on the second day after my birth and thus have my mom and my dad is chasing a huge shock. I had a focus in the tail of the pancreas. After a long odyssey through many clinics my parents in contact with Professor Mohnike Magedburg found. In Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center Frankfurter Tor in Berlin, then the PET-CT done and then I could fly with my mom even by helicopter to Prof. Barthle to Greifswald on the Baltic Sea! So far away from home! But here I was in December 2009, operates in the key hole surgery on my navel and since then I am healthy! No more blood sugar measuring! And one sees almost no scars on my stomach. Professor and Professor Barthle Mohnike helped me a lot and were sooo sweet to me!
About my odyssey and the surgery was even a film shot by the NDR Hamburg. He will soon be shown on television, once the date is set I'll tell you here!
